Basic Calculator is a must-have tool on every computer. It allows for users of any skill level to input equations and see results instantaneously. It works exactly like a physical calculator. The interface is easy to use and has large clearly visible numbers and symbols.

While the Basic Calculator does not allow for high-level equations, it is great for quickly working through a string of numbers that are too complicated to do mentally. It is great for those who are unfamiliar with computers or unfamiliar with math. This tool is a great way to teach a student how to use a calculator.

Basic Calculator offers a simple tool that does need to multitask in order to be valuable. It has seventeen grey colored buttons on a cream background. It is very stripped-down and allows for a greater focus to be on the math rather than trying to figure out what a lot of different buttons do. It focuses on the basics of math, addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division with a button for clearing an equation and decimal point button down at the bottom of the screen.

This calculator does not need to be online to function and is a great tool for doing basic math on the go.

The greatest problem that Basic Calculator presents is right in its name, it is very simplistic. There isn't a lot of room to do higher level equations on this calculator and it is not even helpful for high school level math courses. It is clearly designed for quick everyday calculations and was not designed with the mathematically gifted in mind.
